Rebecca Grohowski

Rebecca Grohowski is a Southern California based visual artist.  Originally from the east coast, she was educated at the Pennsylvania State University in a wide variety of media.  Her Studies then and since have encompassed painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, print making and ceramic arts.

Most enticed by the visual experience of color and texture, Rebecca uses abstract imagery to evoke emotion and the sensation of energy. She currently works on canvas using acrylics, charcoal, pastels, ink, pencil, paper and cloth. Experimentation with new mediums is always part of the fun.

In addition to being a working artist, Rebecca is also an experienced ballroom and social dance instructor, and a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique.  She resides in San Diego, California.
